China Insurance announced today that, following approval by the board of directors, Shao Xiaoyi has been appointed as the company's general manager. She will formally assume the position after her qualifications as general manager are approved by the National Financial Regulatory Authority. Until her qualifications are approved and she is officially appointed, she will serve as the temporary leader of China Insurance Group and will exercise the powers of the general manager.
