Chairman Duang Xiangdong of China Aluminum Group held talks with Deputy Prime Minister Nambutar Baatar of Mongolia.
On June 8, Duan Xiangdong, Chairman of Aluminum Corporation of China (Chinalco), held talks with visiting Mongolian Deputy Prime Minister Norovyn Altankhuyag and his delegation at the group's headquarters, discussing further strengthening of cooperation. Duan Xiangdong stated that Chinalco has a long history of cooperation with relevant companies in Mongolia, and in recent years has been continuously expanding trade volume, innovating logistics models, and pushing cooperation to new levels. He expressed hope to deepen cooperation in more fields while solidifying and expanding the coal trade partnership. Norovyn Altankhuyag said that the Mongolian government is continuously improving the investment environment for foreign investors, and advancing the construction of logistics channels to create more efficient and stable conditions for regional industrial and supply chain cooperation. Recognizing Chinalco's strength in resource development and engineering construction, he expressed hope to further deepen cooperation to achieve higher levels of mutual benefit and win-win outcomes.
