Hong Kong Trade Development Council: Central Asian countries have full confidence in Hong Kong and there is great potential for future cooperation.

According to the WiseFinance APP, the Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, Carrie Lam, led a delegation of business representatives to visit two Central Asian countries earlier, reaching a total of 96 cooperation agreements and memoranda of understanding with a total value of over 1.65 billion US dollars. On June 8th, the Director of the Hong Kong Trade and Economic Development Bureau, Edward Yau, who accompanied the delegation, stated during a radio program that the Central Asian trip was very successful. The Central Asian countries have full confidence in Hong Kong and hope to strengthen cooperation with Hong Kong in various areas including finance, trade, infrastructure, innovation and technology, green development, and tourism, with great potential for cooperation between the two sides.
