Solid-state batteries unlock new possibilities for flying cars.

The flying car aims to achieve "flying safely, flying far, flying economically", with the power system as the core foundation. It is understood that solid-state battery technology is being applied to flying cars, shortening the industrialization process through mutual empowerment. In the battery workshop, solid-state batteries are produced with solid electrolytes replacing traditional liquid electrolytes, meeting the high safety requirements of flying cars. It is reported that flying cars equipped with high-energy solid-state batteries have successfully flown over the Qiongzhou Strait. In terms of economic flight, improving battery life is a key factor. Currently, many flying cars in the industry use high-energy density liquid lithium batteries, while solid-state batteries are in the sprint stage from the laboratory to mass production.
