Recently, when customs officers at the Rongcheng Customs Office in Fuzhou conducted an inspection of imported goods declared as "copper ore powder", they found that the goods were mostly in powder form, with clumping phenomenon, in various colors such as gray-white, yellow-brown, gray-black, gray-green, yellow, etc., which differed significantly from normal copper ore powder. It was preliminarily judged to have a high risk of foreign garbage, so samples were immediately taken for testing. After identification by the Fuzhou Customs Technical Center, it was determined that this batch of goods belonged to the national prohibited import of foreign garbage, totaling 67.498 tons. Currently, the case has been transferred to the anti-smuggling department for further processing. China prohibits the import of foreign garbage in any form, and prohibits the dumping, stacking, and disposal of foreign garbage in the country. Import companies should strictly abide by the "People's Republic of China Solid Waste Pollution Prevention and Control Law" and related laws and regulations. If illegal import of foreign garbage into the country is found, customs will order its return and impose fines according to law, and if it constitutes a crime, criminal responsibility will be pursued according to law.
