Deputy Governor Lu Lei of the Central Bank attends the 2026 annual meeting of the Caribbean Development Bank.

On June 3 and 4, Lu Lei, Vice Governor of the People's Bank of China, attended the 2026 Annual Meeting of the Caribbean Development Bank held in the Bahamas and delivered a speech on behalf of non-borrowing member countries outside the region at the opening ceremony. Participants at the meeting exchanged views on topics such as the transformation and future development of the Caribbean region. During the meeting, Lu Lei also met with Daniel Best, President of the Caribbean Development Bank, to exchange views on strengthening bilateral cooperation and other issues.
