At the 2026 Qualcomm Automotive Technology and Cooperation Summit on June 5th, NIO's founder, chairman, and CEO, William Li, stated that current car companies must become AI companies and current intelligent cockpits must become AI cockpits. In Li's view, AI is reshaping the next generation cockpit experience, bringing intelligent cockpits into the era of cognitive cockpits. Li emphasized that the core experience of future intelligent cockpits must be fully agent-oriented. As of now, NIO's intelligent cockpit experience is continuously striving towards this goal, with some functions successfully implemented. (Securities Times)
