On June 5th, at the 2026 Qualcomm Car Technology and Cooperation Summit, William Li, founder, chairman and CEO of NIO, stated that car companies must now become AI companies, and intelligent cabins must now become AI cabins. In Li's view, AI is reshaping the next generation cabin experience and bringing intelligent cabins into the cognitive cabin era. Li emphasized that the core experience of future intelligent cabins must be fully Agentized. Up to now, NIO's intelligent cabin experience is continuously working towards this goal, with some functions successfully on board.
