"2025 China Ecological Environment Status Report" released.

Today is World Environment Day, and this year the theme in our country is "Comprehensive Green Transformation, Building a Beautiful China Together". The Ministry of Ecology and Environment released the "2025 China Ecological Environment Report" today, which shows that the quality of China's ecological environment will continue to improve by 2025. In 2025, the average concentration of PM2.5 in 339 cities at the prefectural level and above across the country will be 29.3 micrograms per cubic meter, continuing to steadily decrease to 28 micrograms per cubic meter this year; the number of heavily polluted days during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period will be reduced by one quarter.
