According to the Wisdom Finance APP, on June 5th, the General Office of the National Medical Insurance Bureau and the General Office of the Ministry of Finance issued a notice on the "Inter-provincial Mutual Assistance Operating Regulations for the Individual Accounts of Employees' Basic Medical Insurance (Trial)". It pointed out that inter-provincial mutual assistance for the individual accounts of employees' basic medical insurance refers to the establishment of a personal medical insurance wallet based on the national unified medical insurance information platform, setting a mutual assistance limit, and realizing the payment of personal out-of-pocket expenses incurred by relatives receiving medical treatment or purchasing drugs at designated medical institutions by the employee's personal account funds as stipulated, as well as insurance payment. The personal medical insurance wallet implements virtual quota management. The scope of application of inter-provincial mutual assistance includes the close relatives of the insured persons of the employees' basic medical insurance, and the recipients of mutual assistance should be the insured persons of the basic medical insurance (including employees' basic medical insurance and urban and rural residents' basic medical insurance). Close relatives include spouses, parents, children, siblings, grandparents, great-grandparents, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
