The first "aimless sea tour" entry and exit pass in the country is issued in Shanghai.
On the 5th, it was learned from the Shanghai Municipal Public Security Bureau Exit and Entry Administration Division that the first "aimless sea travel" entry and exit passport in the country was issued in Shanghai that morning. It is reported that, due to the special nature of aimless sea travel "not docking, traveling back and forth in international waters", with the approval of the National Immigration Administration, the Shanghai Public Security Exit and Entry Administration Department has taken the lead in launching a new policy to facilitate the issuance of entry and exit permits for cruise travel: in addition to using a regular passport, tourists can apply for a special entry and exit permit with their ID card. This greatly reduces the threshold for tourists to travel abroad on cruises and eliminates the need for cumbersome visa preparations. "As a valid single-entry and exit document, the entry and exit permit will be specifically marked with 'aimless sea travel'." Ye Jun, the captain of the document management team of the Shanghai Municipal Public Security Bureau Exit and Entry Administration Division, said. Ye Jun said that aimless sea travelers without valid passports can apply for entry and exit permits at the reception hall on Minsheng Road with their ID cards. For those with urgent travel plans, an expedited processing lane will be opened.
