According to the Wise Finance APP, Andrew Sheets, Global Head of Fixed Income Research at Morgan Stanley, said that if Federal Reserve policy makers believe it is necessary to raise interest rates this year, they are likely to downplay the impact of the Iran war on prices. Sheets said on Thursday: "Our assessment is that the Fed will see through this. The Fed will view it more as a growth impact rather than an inflation impact. Therefore, we believe this is unlikely to be a factor prompting the Fed to raise interest rates."
