State Grid: 168 key projects for peak load shifting and summer peak use are accelerating construction.

According to the State Grid, it is estimated that the maximum electricity demand in the State Grid's operational area this summer will exceed 1.3 billion kilowatts, an increase of about 6% compared to the same period last year. Currently, 168 key projects for peak load and summer load are being accelerated in construction. Previously, according to the National Development and Reform Commission, the highest electricity demand in the country this summer will reach around 1.6 billion kilowatts, an increase of about 90 million kilowatts compared to last year. After comprehensive analysis and judgment, the overall energy and power supply capacity in the country this summer is generally able to meet peak demand.
