American oil and gas giant ConocoPhillips announced on LinkedIn that it has signed a long-term supply agreement with the liquefied natural gas (LNG) seller in Indonesia's North Hub, further expanding the company's global LNG supply map. The supply will come from deepwater gas resources being developed in the Kutai Basin, which is located near Indonesia's existing Bontang LNG plant. A spokesperson for ConocoPhillips stated in an email that the agreement will commence in 2029; however, the company declined to disclose the specific supply volume and agreement term.
