NVIDIA CEO Huang Renxun stated that he has always tried to pay employees as much as possible. This statement was made in response to questions about NVIDIA's partner Samsung Electronics and the recent compensation agreement reached with chip engineers, providing bonuses of up to $400,000. Huang Renxun said, "I have always tried to pay employees as much as possible. That's how I do it, but that doesn't mean it's right." He also refuted the idea that artificial intelligence could threaten employment, calling it "nonsense" and stating that AI would actually drive income, profits, and GDP growth. According to a document from Samsung in March, the average income of Samsung employees last year was 158 million Korean won (approximately $105,000).
