On June 2, at the opening ceremony of the 19th International Solar Photovoltaic and Smart Energy & Energy Storage and Battery Conference and Exhibition, Zhu Gongshan, Chairman of the Global Green Energy Council, Chairman of the Asia Photovoltaic Industry Association, and Chairman of Xinjiang Goldwind Science & Technology Co., Ltd., stated that the old development paradigm and industry narrative of the photovoltaic industry have completely failed. The path that used to focus on expansion, price reduction, and seizing scale has reached its physical limits. The entire industry is stuck in a zero-sum game, with only one outcome - "fighting in the mud pit without winners." Breaking the paradox of larger installations, more difficult integration, and lower value is a problem that all practitioners must face. The core value of photovoltaics is transitioning in the direction of new qualitative productivity, with a focus on technological depth and systemic value. The main contradiction in the industry is no longer a simple supply-demand relationship, but has transformed into a conflict between old manufacturing models and the new demands for high-value, adjustable energy supply in the new electricity system.
