Shenzhen 3D printer wins global popularity, capturing nearly 90% market share.
The General Administration of Customs has released the latest data. In the first four months of this year, China exported a total of 2.46 million 3D printers, with an export value of 6.106 billion yuan, representing year-on-year growth of 100.3% and 110.4% respectively. Among them, consumer-grade 3D printing equipment has been expanding overseas sales routes due to its high performance and cost-effectiveness, and has been favored by consumers. With outstanding performance and high cost-effectiveness, domestically produced 3D printers are continuously expanding their overseas sales routes. In the first four months of this year, the export value of 3D printers from Shenzhen reached 5.24 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 128.6%, accounting for 85.8% of the total export value of similar products nationwide. At the same time, customs across the country are constantly optimizing clearance services and introducing convenient measures to facilitate the smooth export of products.
