Significant water conservancy projects in Shaanxi are steadily progressing.

According to Shaanxi Daily, statistics show that in the first quarter of the year, the province started construction on 651 major and surface water conservancy projects, and accelerated the construction of 1413 ongoing projects. A total investment of 9.537 billion yuan was implemented, with completed investments reaching 7.237 billion yuan, representing respective increases of 15.6% and 5.2% year on year. The investment scale remained stable and saw a good start. A number of livelihood water conservancy projects are also being implemented in coordination. In the first quarter, Shaanxi accelerated the progress of rural water supply projects and maintenance, medium-sized irrigation area water-saving renovations, small and medium river management, soil and water conservation comprehensive management projects, with a total investment of 4.367 billion yuan. The proportion of rural population covered by scale water supply projects in the province reached 53.93%, ensuring the continuous improvement of basic livelihood water conservancy facilities.
