Toyota responds that it will suspend the development of the next generation of Lexus pure electric vehicles.

Recently, there have been reports that Toyota will suspend the development of the production model of the high-end car brand Lexus' pure electric sedan "LF-ZC". Toyota responded that the information is true, and the reason for the suspension of this model's development is "to adjust part of the overall vehicle development projects in consideration of changes in market demand". Toyota also emphasized that the company is only adjusting the development plans for some vehicles, and it does not mean giving up on battery electric vehicles (BEV).
