In the first four months, China's total outbound direct investment in all industries reached 429.42 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 3.9%.

According to statistics from the Ministry of Commerce and the State Administration of Foreign Exchange, China's outward foreign direct investment in all industries totaled 429.42 billion yuan from January to April 2026, an increase of 3.9% year-on-year. Among them, Chinese domestic investors made non-financial direct investments in 5,231 overseas enterprises in 142 countries and regions, with a total investment of 315.74 billion yuan, a decrease of 13.9%.
