Hainan Province Holds Work Meeting with CITIC Group

According to Hainan Daily, on May 25th, Hainan Province and CITIC Group held a working meeting in Haikou to exchange in-depth discussions on deepening and expanding the strategic cooperation between the central government and localities. She expressed the willingness to focus on areas such as financial openness, medical health, seed industry technology, and low-altitude economy with CITIC Group to carry out strategic, comprehensive, and systematic cooperation, working together to achieve mutually beneficial development. Hainan will make every effort to provide services and guarantees to create a favorable development environment for various enterprises, including CITIC Group. Xie Guohua expressed the willingness to continue to increase investment in Hainan, serve as a "financial consultant" for the construction of the free trade port, innovate the comprehensive financial service model, and provide a package of comprehensive solutions combining "financial intelligence + finance + production". They aim to deepen pragmatic cooperation in the medical and health field, attract and gather domestic and foreign pharmaceutical companies, and collaborate to build a highland for the health industry; expand new spaces for industrial development, empower Hainan's modern agriculture with technological innovation for high-quality development, explore cooperation in the low-altitude economy field, activate new innovative productive forces; build a bridge for external opening and cooperation, actively promote the policies of the free trade port, attract more enterprises to settle in Hainan, and seek common development.
