Spot gold is up more than 1.3%, silver is up more than 3.3%
On Monday's New York closing, spot gold rose by 1.35% to $4570.50 per ounce, with significant gains seen in the early Asia-Pacific session, continuing to fluctuate at high levels throughout the day. COMEX gold futures rose by 1.07% to $4605.10 per ounce. Spot silver rose by 3.35% to $78.0713 per ounce, with the Asia-Pacific session seeing a rise from below $76.50 to above $78.82, maintaining high levels of volatility. COMEX silver futures rose by 2.89% to $78.400 per ounce. COMEX copper futures rose by 1.40% to $6.47 per pound. Spot platinum rose by 2.25%, and spot palladium rose by 3.58%.
