From January to April 2026, China's automobile exports totaled 3.26 million vehicles, an increase of 51% compared to the same period in 2025. In April, China's automobile exports reached 940,000 vehicles, an increase of 52% year-on-year and 21% month-on-month. The overall trend of year-on-year growth was strong, but the month-on-month growth was lower due to the influence of the Middle East. In April 2026, China's exports of new energy vehicles reached 463,000 vehicles, a 59% increase year-on-year. From January to April, a total of 1.47 million new energy vehicles were exported, showing a strong growth of 69%, with April showing a stronger performance compared to March. The top 10 countries for China's automobile exports in April 2026 were Brazil with 121,766 vehicles, Russia with 77,524 vehicles, Belgium with 51,480 vehicles, Australia with 49,870 vehicles, the UK with 43,837 vehicles, Mexico with 29,348 vehicles, the Philippines with 26,653 vehicles, Algeria with 22,685 vehicles, Thailand with 22,505 vehicles, and Italy with 22,000 vehicles. Among these, the top five countries with the largest increase in export volume compared to the same period last year are Brazil with an increase of 80,251 vehicles, Russia with an increase of 44,373 vehicles, Belgium with an increase of 25,146 vehicles, Australia with an increase of 19,911 vehicles, and the UK with an increase of 17,323 vehicles.
