Due to changes in material prices, the bidding for the 600MW/1.2GWh shared energy storage project in Daixian, Shanxi Province has been terminated.

The national public resource trading platform recently announced that the bidding for the EPC general contracting project of the 600MW/1200MWh new type of shared energy storage project at the power grid side in Daixian County, Shanxi Province, has officially been terminated. The reason for the termination is due to changes in material prices which have led to changes in the bidding plan. The project first issued a bidding announcement on April 30th. The first phase of the project plans to construct a 200MW/400MWh prefabricated container energy storage station, with supporting facilities such as a 220kV substation and expansion of the opposite station, aiming for 300 peak shaving operations and 365,000 frequency regulation operations per year. The planned construction period is 4 months.
