Ali DAMO Academy Xuan Tie official Weibo news today, on May 25th, the Xuan Tie team announced that its 9 series of high-performance processors have completed adaptation to the Android 16 operating system and have targetedly released the Xuan Tie Android platform to strategic clients. As the world's first RVA23 compatible RISC-V processor successfully running the latest version of the Android system, the Xuan Tie 9 series has made a breakthrough, marking RISC-V's transition from functional porting to normative compatibility and product delivery in the Android ecosystem, laying a technological foundation for large-scale commercial implementation. Currently, the Xuan Tie Android platform has been opened to the first batch of Xuan Tie strategic clients, accelerating the exploration of new RISC-V intelligent terminal scenarios and significantly shortening the cycle from chip prototype to product launch. In addition, Android 17 "Gemini Intelligence" intelligent entity drives system-level AI integration, the latest high-performance flagship processor series from Xuan Tie is equipped with the Vector+Matrix AI acceleration engine, adapting to edge AI inference requirements and achieving native support for models with billions of parameters.
