A safety accident occurred on a drilling platform in Malaysia, resulting in 3 deaths and 1 injury.

According to the information released by the Malaysian police, a serious safety accident occurred on a offshore oil drilling platform in Terengganu, Malaysia on the afternoon of the 24th. Four workers were using a closed lifeboat to go down to repair the bottom of the platform when the lifeboat rope suddenly broke. The accident has so far resulted in 3 deaths and 1 person seriously injured. Malaysian national oil company is currently actively cooperating with relevant units to conduct a comprehensive investigation into the cause of the accident.
