Over 60% share! Beijing's green electricity market transaction scale surpasses thermal power for the first time.

According to the Capital Electricity Trading Center, from January to April this year, the scale of green electricity market trading in Beijing exceeded thermal power for the first time, with the proportion of green electricity trading in the total electricity market trading volume exceeding 60%. The latest data shows that from January to April, the scale of green electricity market trading in Beijing reached 18.8 billion kilowatt hours, an increase of 82.54% year-on-year, exceeding thermal power trading for the first time. 99.97% of the green electricity comes from 14 provinces and regions including Xinjiang, Tibet, and Shanxi. In the first four months, the proportion of green electricity trading in Beijing accounted for 63.63% of the total electricity market trading volume.
