Henan: From January to April, the added value of industrial enterprises above designated size in the province increased by 8.2% year-on-year.

The Statistical Bureau of Henan Province released the economic performance of the province from January to April 2026. In the first four months, the added value of large-scale industries in the province increased by 8.2% year-on-year, which was 0.3 percentage points higher than the first quarter. During the same period, the total retail sales of consumer goods in the province reached 977.87 billion yuan, an increase of 3.2% year-on-year. Fixed asset investment in the province grew by 1.2% compared to the same period last year, with the growth rate staying the same as the first quarter.
