Recently, Tesla China released multiple job openings related to smart driving tests, sparking speculation within the industry about the imminent launch of Full Self-Driving (FSD) in the Chinese market. According to the job postings, the positions include technicians for smart driving tests (real vehicle tests), smart driving test engineers, and smart driving test site testers, with office locations in nine cities including Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Suzhou, and Wuhan. A reporter inquired as a consumer to the official customer service whether the 64,000 RMB intelligent assisted driving feature could be used through OTA (over-the-air updates). The response was: "Your vehicle is currently not compatible with this feature, but we are actively progressing with the approval process according to national regulations. Once approved, it will be pushed to domestic customers as soon as possible." (Nikkei)
