Guangxi urgently dispatched 20 million yuan to support Liuzhou in earthquake relief efforts.

According to the official WeChat account of "Guangxi Daily" newspaper, on May 19, the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Department of Finance, together with the Autonomous Region Emergency Management Department, opened a green channel and urgently dispatched 20 million yuan of emergency relief funds to support Liuzhou City in carrying out earthquake relief work. On May 17-18, Liunan District of Liuzhou City experienced multiple earthquakes, with two earthquakes reaching a magnitude of 5.2 on May 18 in the early morning and evening, leading to casualties and property damage. The allocated funds will be used to carry out emergency rescue operations, secondary disaster hazard investigations, repair damaged houses, and assist affected residents, ensuring the safety of people's lives and property.
