On May 19, Ge Haijiao, Chairman of the Bank of China, met with the Chief Executive Officer of the Singapore Exchange Group, Luo Wencai, and witnessed the signing of a cooperation memorandum between the two parties at the Bank of China headquarters. Huang Xueling, Vice President of Bank of China, attended the event. Both parties unanimously expressed that Bank of China and the Singapore Exchange Group have a strong cooperation foundation and complementary resources in promoting regional capital market development and serving cross-border investment and financing activities. Taking the signing of this cooperation memorandum as an opportunity, both parties will fully leverage the global advantages and comprehensive characteristics of Bank of China, as well as the role of the Singapore Exchange Group as an international financial platform, to further deepen mutually beneficial cooperation in promoting the international use of the renminbi, interconnection of capital markets, and actively explore financial innovation service models, jointly promote Sino-Singapore financial cooperation to a higher level of development.
