China Merchants Steam Navigation Co., Ltd.: Received the administrative supervision measures decision letter from Shanghai Regulatory Bureau.

China Merchants Shipping announced that on May 19, 2026, the company received a decision from the Shanghai Regulatory Bureau of the China Securities Regulatory Commission to issue a warning letter to China Merchants Shipping. This was due to accounting errors in its wholly-owned subsidiary China COSCO Container Lines Co., Ltd., which led to inaccuracies in the financial reports disclosed in the 2021 annual report, as well as the reports for the first half of 2022 and 2023.
