The Ministry of Finance will issue RMB green sovereign bonds in Hong Kong with a scale not exceeding 6 billion RMB.

With the approval of the State Council, the Ministry of Finance will issue RMB green sovereign bonds in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region on a week starting May 25, 2026, with a scale not exceeding 6 billion RMB. Specific issuance arrangements will be announced separately before the issuance.
