The seasonally adjusted unemployment rate in Hong Kong from February to April was 3.7%. The underemployment rate fell to 1.5%.

The latest labor force statistics ( provisional figures for February to April 2026) released by the Hong Kong Census and Statistics Department on May 19th, as reported by the iFengFinance app, showed that the seasonally adjusted unemployment rate for February to April 2026 was 3.7%, unchanged from the previous period of January to March 2026. The underemployment rate also decreased from 1.6% in January to March 2026 to 1.5% in February to April 2026.
