At the beginning of the summer in the northern hemisphere, as air conditioning loads surge and holiday travel peaks, the global supply chain of crude oil, gasoline, diesel, and aviation kerosene will come under greater pressure. Currently, global fuel stocks are reaching their fastest depletion rate on record. To address this, Australia has committed $100 billion to increase fuel and fertilizer reserves, while France has stated that it will "adjust the scope and scale of support policies" to protect its economy from crisis impacts. India is making efforts to replenish foreign exchange reserves and urging citizens not to buy gold or travel abroad. According to statistics from the International Energy Agency, the number of countries forced to implement emergency measures has increased from 55 at the end of March to 76 currently.
