Baocheng (02378) plans to acquire a controlling stake in BHARTI LIFE INSURANCE to adjust its business deployment in India.

The Financial Intelligence APP News, Baocheng (02378) announced that on May 17, 2026, in order to advance its strategic deployment in India, it has agreed to acquire 75% equity of Bharti Life Insurance Company Limited, a well-known life insurance company in India, from Bharti Life Ventures Pvt Ltd and 360 ONE Asset Management. The transaction is still subject to regulatory approval and other conditions precedent before it can be completed.
