From May 15th to May 17th, the 18th Xuanyuan Automobile Blue Book Forum was held in Guangzhou with the theme of "Turning Point". During the dialogue session, some viewpoints were raised that new energy intelligent connected vehicles are becoming more like fast-moving consumer goods, with consumers' vehicle replacement cycles shortening from "ten or eight years" in the past to five years, three years, or even shorter, seemingly loosening their adherence to safety and quality. In response to this, Feng Xingya, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of Guangzhou Automobile Group, stated that quality has always been the bottom line of the automotive industry and the "principle" of independent brands. He pointed out that although the first owners are replacing their vehicles more frequently, the discarded vehicles will not be scrapped but will enter the second-hand car market and continue to be used for eight to ten years by the next owners. "For the next owner, the quality of this vehicle during the next eight to ten years of use will directly impact their driving experience and value."
