Sichuan has introduced a plan to promote the full coverage of pilot platforms in key industrial chains. By next year, more than 260 pilot platforms will be established cumulatively.
Reporters learned from the Science and Technology Office of the Provincial Party Committee that the "Implementation Plan for Deepening the Construction of the '1+N' Service System of Pilot Platforms and Promoting the Implementation of Pilot Platforms in Key Industry Chains" was recently issued, clearly defining the overall goals, important measures, and guarantee measures for the construction of pilot platforms in the province in the next 5 years.
The plan specifies two phased goals: by 2027, the "1+N" pilot platform service system in the province will be sound and complete, with pilot platforms achieving full coverage in key industry chains, and over 260 provincial and municipal pilot platforms will be established, significantly enhancing the ability to serve industrial innovation and development; by 2030, a first-class domestic pilot platform service ecosystem will be established, a batch of benchmark pilot platforms will be built, a replicable and scalable experiential model will be formed, and a pilot innovation highland serving Sichuan, radiating the west, and connecting the whole country will be constructed.
According to the plan, Sichuan will implement actions to build pilot platforms in key industry chains. Specifically, actions will be taken to strengthen and supplement key industrial park pilot platforms, achieve full coverage of pilot platforms in key industrial parks, improve pilot service capabilities, and support industrial chain strengthening through pilot platforms. For example, in the aspect of strengthening and supplementing pilot platforms, the focus will be on key industry chains, optimizing and improving the layout of pilot platform construction through the "strengthening, supplementing, and activating" initiative; in supporting industrial chain strengthening through pilot platforms, the need for conceptual verification and maturity testing services in key industry chains will be clarified, pilot service lists and demand lists will be published, and pilot services will be provided through the "1+N" service system.
According to the plan, in areas of advantageous industries such as artificial intelligence, low-altitude economy, high-end energy equipment, and pharmaceuticals and health, support will be provided for existing pilot platforms in smart hardware, drones, advanced nuclear energy equipment, and large and small capacity injections; in emerging or urgently needed industries such as aerospace, new displays, software and information services, communications, and quantum technology, external recruitment combined with internal cultivation will be used to supplement key links in the pilot service chain.
