Henan issues warnings of risk of waterlogging and lodging of wheat in farmland.

On May 16, 2026, the Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs of Henan Province and the Henan Meteorological Bureau jointly issued a warning for the risk of field waterlogging and wheat lodging. It is predicted that from May 16 to 19, there will be heavy rain and strong convective weather in western, northern, southwestern, and southern parts of Henan Province. Some areas in Nanyang and Xinyang will have high risk of disasters, while other areas in the province will have relatively high risk of disasters. It is recommended to strengthen precautions.
