The level of guarantee for rural water supply in our country has significantly improved.

According to the Ministry of Water Resources, since the "14th Five-Year Plan", the degree of rural water supply security in China has significantly improved, achieving the goals of the "14th Five-Year Plan" two years ahead of schedule. By the end of 2025, the national rural tap water coverage rate has reached 96%, the proportion of rural population covered by large-scale water supply projects has reached 71%, and the proportion of counties under unified management has reached 72%. By the end of 2025, there are 3.816 million rural water supply projects in the country, forming a water supply security network covering 850 million rural population, enabling remote mountainous areas and areas with water difficulties to gradually access tap water.
