On May 11, local time, according to American sources, the Trump administration announced a reward of up to $15 million to obtain information about the financial operations of the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps. The reward was issued by the US State Department, aiming to obtain information about the revenue sources, funding channels, and key financial support networks of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps and its Quds Force. The State Department stated that the reward targets include shell companies, individuals, and financial institutions that assist the Revolutionary Guard in evading sanctions, as well as seeking information on how Iran transfers funds and materials to its "terrorist organizations and proxy militias". In addition, the US is also focusing on financial institutions, exchange outlets, and businesses controlled by the Revolutionary Guard that facilitate their transactions.
