Wanggang, a major storage module manufacturer, stated at a press conference that in 2026, the upward trend in prices of DRAM and NAND storage chips will not change. In the first half of the year, DRAM will lead the price increase, with NAND taking over in the second half. Particularly in the synchronous expansion of demand for AI servers, enterprise storage, and terminal AI devices, the company has a more positive outlook on NAND chip prices in the second half of the year, expecting a "very high probability of a significant increase". The supply gap is also expanding, with the company emphasizing that there will be a continued shortage next year. Wanggang emphasized that the company continues to maintain high levels of inventory to meet strong storage demand, with inventory in the first quarter reaching around 36.4 billion New Taiwan Dollars, further exceeding 40 billion New Taiwan Dollars by the end of April.
