Shanghai Electric successfully participated in the research and development of a megawatt-level aviation high-speed turbine generator system.
Recently, the megawatt-level aviation hybrid power system developed by the China Aviation Power Equipment Research Institute in Hunan has been successfully tested. The high-speed generator system in the system was jointly developed by Shanghai Electric Power Group, Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics Wuxi Research Institute, Automation College and the Power Research Institute. The successful completion of the ground performance test of the megawatt-level hybrid power system marks an important breakthrough in China's engineering application of high-power high-speed aviation generator systems, filling the gap in the engineering application of high-power high-speed aviation generator systems. Currently, Shanghai Electric Power has formed a full range of products covering 350kW to 1MW aviation high-speed generators, with the 350kW series products steadily under development. This series of generator products can be adapted to aviation hybrid power systems of different power levels, widely used in hybrid electric propulsion aircraft, electric vertical take-off and landing aircraft, and general aviation, providing core equipment support for low-altitude economic development.
