Gold futures in New York fell 2.5%, approaching $4500 at one point.

On Monday, the New York closing price of spot gold fell by 2.02% to $4520.57 per ounce, with overall continued decline and trading between $4629.44 and $4501.07. There were significant short-term declines at 18:00 and 22:40 Beijing time. COMEX gold futures fell by 2.53% to $4526.70 per ounce, trading between $4650.60 and $4510.10. Spot silver fell by 3.48% to $72.7428 per ounce, dropping from $74.50 to $72.2164 at 18:00 to refresh the daily low. COMEX silver futures fell by 4.23% to $73.200 per ounce, also hitting a daily low of $72.600 at 18:22. COMEX copper futures fell by 2.06% to $5.8610 per pound.
