The Brazil Buzios 8 project, jointly invested and owned by China National Offshore Oil Corporation, has recently started production. This project is an important result of deepening pragmatic cooperation between China and Brazil, and it is of great significance in promoting international energy cooperation. The Buzios 8 project, which has just started production, is located in the Santos Basin in the southeast of Brazil, with water depths ranging from 1900 to 2200 meters. It adopts a full-sea development model of "floating production storage and offloading (FPSO) + subsea production system." The design oil production capacity of FPSO P-79 is approximately 25,000 tons per day, with a natural gas processing capacity of 7.2 million cubic meters per day and an external transmission capacity of 3 million cubic meters per day.
