On April 30, the Intermediate People's Court of Wuzhong City publicly sentenced Jiang Zhe Wen, former member of the Party Committee and Deputy Director of the Development and Reform Commission of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, for bribery. The defendant Jiang Zhe Wen was sentenced to 10 years and 3 months in prison for the crime of accepting bribes, and was fined 550,000 yuan. The proceeds of bribery and interest involved in the case were confiscated and turned over to the national treasury, with any shortfall to be further recovered according to law.
