Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security: Promote technical schools to align with the needs of enterprises and carry out customized training.
According to the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, since the beginning of this year, China has launched large-scale skills improvement actions targeting key areas such as artificial intelligence, advanced manufacturing, elderly care services, as well as key groups such as college graduates and migrant workers. The implementation of the "New Eight-Level Worker" vocational skills level system has been further promoted, with 112.8 thousand people obtaining senior professional qualifications or vocational skills level certificates in the first quarter. In the next step, the country will strengthen general education in artificial intelligence, continuously improve workers' digital literacy and artificial intelligence application capabilities.
The implementation of skills improvement training for millions of young people will be carried out in order to make training more closely aligned with industry and positions. Efforts will be made to bring training services to businesses, schools, and towns, creating a training service network including a 30-minute training circle and skill refueling stations, allowing more workers to participate in training locally. Zhai Tao, Deputy Director of the Department of Occupational Capacity Building, stated that efforts will be made to promote vocational schools to better match the demands of enterprises, to carry out customized training, and to promote the matching of personnel to positions; pay close attention to urgently needed and scarce areas of employment, promote and organize government-led project-based training, and strengthen the supply of skilled personnel.
