Starting from July 1st, more companies will be included in the pilot program for occupational injury protection.

Starting from July 1st, 9 platform companies in the travel industry and 5 platform companies in the instant delivery industry will be included in the pilot scheme for occupational injury protection for workers in new forms of employment. Wang Li, Deputy Director of the Work Injury Insurance Department of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, stated on April 28th that up to now, over 27 million workers in new forms of employment have been covered by the pilot scheme for occupational injury protection. This year, the pilot scheme will be further expanded to cover all 31 provinces and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps, with platform companies in the travel, instant delivery, and intra-city freight industries overall included in the pilot scope.
