According to the National Immigration Administration, this year's "May Day" holiday will see a peak in inbound and outbound passenger flow at ports nationwide, with an estimated daily average of 2.25 million arrivals and departures, and a single-day peak clearance volume expected to exceed 2.4 million people. Large international airport ports will see a significant increase in inbound and outbound passenger flow, with Shanghai Pudong, Guangzhou Baiyun, Beijing Capital, Chengdu Tianfu, and Shenzhen Bao'an ports expecting daily averages of 102,000, 55,000, 49,000, 20,000, and 20,000 arrivals and departures respectively. Passenger flow at adjacent land ports to Hong Kong and Macao will continue to operate at high levels, with Shenzhen Luohu, Futian, Shenzhen Bay, Guangzhou-Shenzhen-Hong Kong high-speed railway West Kowloon Station, and Liantang ports expected to have daily averages of 230,000, 210,000, 180,000, 120,000, and 100,000 arrivals and departures respectively. Zhuhai Gongbei, Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge, Qingmao, and Hengqin ports are expected to have daily averages of 396,000, 129,000, 121,000, and 116,000 arrivals and departures respectively.
