The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology has issued a notice on organizing the selection of key water-using enterprises and leading water-efficient industrial parks in 2026. Based on relevant standards for water-saving enterprises and water-saving industrial parks, the selected objects mainly include industrial enterprises in 28 industries such as steel, coking, petroleum refining, ethylene, chlor-alkali, nitrogen fertilizer, modern coal chemical industry, textile dyeing and finishing, chemical fiber filament weaving, papermaking, beer brewing, fermentation, alumina, electrolytic aluminum, polycrystalline silicon, shipbuilding, iron ore mining and selection, wood processing and products, building materials, lead smelting, zinc smelting, ferroalloy, printed circuit boards, polyester, woolen textile, silk, viscose, spandex, etc., as well as county-level and above industrial parks with legal boundaries and scope and unified management institutions.
